CrossFit Games Open 13.2 is now in the bag and it was a good one for Good Times. Already we are seeing the pack spread out and we have many athletes placed in the top of their respective leaderboard categories. Here are some of the developments from this week.
-Barb has once again captured a top 20 ranking in her age group and sits two weeks in a row as one of the top women on our team.
-JJ and Dina fought it out once again in true couples fashion.... Dina once again proved that even with terrible allergies she still will not lose no matter what!
-Cassie also sits in top 20 for her group with a demanding score of 343. WOW! With that she has grabbed the top score on our team and consistently places herself in a group of elite women.
-Rachel and Drew came out to Folsom Lake CrossFit and both scored over a round better to bump up their rankings and also feel the spirit of the CrossFit community. Super stoked on their scores.
- And everyone who took part in the craziness of Friday thank you for completely draining me of all physical and emotional energy. This is so fun for me and I am so invested in each of you that I hardly have anything left at the end of the day for my own kids.

Hollow Hold

Kipping Pull Up Progression
The goal for today is not to see how many pull ups we can do but to nail the form of the Kip as it relates to the bar and rings. Perfect the 1,2,3 of the Kip.
Fitness WOD:

8 Hang Power Cleans 135/95
7 Pull Ups
100m Run
Rest exactly :20 between rounds
Athlete Skill:
Butterfly Chest To Bar Pull Ups
Pulling through your normal pull up, work to the clavicle while maintaining your center of gravity between to posts. Watch your hips. Perform 6 Rounds of 6 Reps.
False Grip Kipping Pull Ups
Perform 6 Rounds of 6 Reps.
Same comments as above though now focus on staying more hollow and in control.
